Maryhill, ON - Federal Signal Model 5 - 17 St Charles St East, Maryhill Fire Station. Built in 1966 as Waterloo Township Fire Station 2 before amalgamation in 1973 when Waterloo County became Waterloo Region, the fire station was absorbed into Woolwich Township. Unknown when they stopped using the siren. When I last spoke to a firefighter at the fire hall breakfast event, he said they don't use it due to complaints. In 2023 the fire station was demolished due to many issues with the old building and a new fire station was built same spot, the siren was kept by the township as a spare/parts siren, so presumed in storage.
