Federal Signal 2001-SRNB DC0478F03 (small logo) - Highest pitched 2001 known to exist. Located at 1014 W Elm Ave. Waseca has played musical sirens with this one a few times, it was originally located at what is now Deml Ford on the far west side of town, then got moved to 500 feet east of Experiment Station Rd around 2010, before being relocated yet again to its current location around 2015. Federal Signal 2001-SRNB (small logo) - Located at the Waseca Fire Department. Relocated from across the street at the original FD. Replaced what is believed to have been a vertical Champion ("Resembled that of an acorn" according to a local). Photos taken 4/30/24, copyright Christopher Aylward.
HISTORIC:
Prior to 2004, Waseca's system comprised Thunderbolts, 2T22s and an RSH-10. The RSH-10 replaced the northern Thunderbolt around the 1990s, and itself got removed around 2010.
Federal XT22 - Was located on Old US-14 between 13th and 11th streets. Screenshotted from the Waseca Area Chamber of Commerce YouTube channel.
Federal RSH-10 - 13th Ave NW & 12th Ave NW. Replaced a Thunderbolt around the 1990s. Replaced by the SRNB a couple blocks north in 2003, not removed until sometime after 2008 street view was taken. Photo clipped from Google Street View November 2008.
