Whelen Vortex R4 - Fort Worth Public Library - Southwest Regional. This is siren #103  Fort Worth    tests their outdoor warning system on the first wensday of the month  at  1PM (weather permitting)  Pictures  were taken on February 6th 2025. Submitted by Gavin The Fire Alarm and Siren Guy 

Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1000 - On top of the Fort Worth Human Resource Building. This was  part of Fort Worth's old siren system  installed in 1954  and was deactivated in 2003 when the system of Whelen's were being install the last time it went off it ran for 3 hours so the Building had to cut its power to get it to stop sounding  and it's rumored that the blower is now gone  the siren itself  still remains abandoned to this day. picture was taken on October 10th 2020.
