Beaver Valley Nuclear Sirens

Beaver, PA - Federal Signal 2001-Equinox - Located at the Beaver Fire Department. Part of the Beaver Valley Nuclear station, which used to consist of ACA Banshee’s and Allertor’s. All were replaced with 2001’s. Some of the old sirens are donated to out-of-county areas, one single tone Banshee is used as a fire siren. (The siren is pole-mounted.) Bridgewater, PA - Federal Signal 2001-130 - Bridgewater Fire co. Tested annually during September at 11:00AM. Used as a local fire siren and nuclear. System used to be Banshees and Allertors, started replacement of the old system around 2002. Submitted by The Railcat.

Chippewa Twp, PA - Federal Signal 2001-Equinox - Located at the Chippewa Twp FD. Replaced a dual tone Banshee around 2011, as of BVNP replaced all their Allertors and Banshees with 2001’s starting in the early 2000’s. Doubles as a fire siren along with NP siren. Tested annually around September at 11:00AM. Submitted by Colton R (The Railcat).
