Waseca County relies on state patrol to notify them to run the monthly siren test. The test will not run until patrol tells them to. Sirens will likely not run if there are any major weather events going on anywhere in Minnesota. The test is also often up to 15 or so minutes late.
Sirens in Waseca County run 3 minutes of alert (attack in Waldorf) for the monthly test.
