Federal Electric Mach B - Main St & Elizabeth Ave. Siren is inactive, was growled a few times on 3/30/24. Siren used to have a control switch in the town shop (now Nature's Wood Shop), where they would set it off briefly every Saturday at noon until around the 80s. Residents would often crowd the fire station or follow fire trucks to fires and cause backups, leading to the department switching away from the siren for fire calls, and briefly thereafter they stopped using it altogether due to only having a momentary button in the fire station after the switch was taken out of the shop.
